Description

Cachaça Batista was founded in 1943 by José Batista de Oliveira in Minas Gerais. It soon became known in the region for its purity and quality. In 1958, a star was added to the logo on the bottle. However, production was discontinued in 1974. On his 90th birthday, Mr. José Batista informed his son-in-law Marco Antônio that he wanted to revive his project. Marco Antônio accepted the challenge and in 2008, together with his son, built the new facilities at Fazenda Boa Sorte in order to modernize the production techniques and maintain the 70-year-old tradition.

Sepultura Band was born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, in 1984. In 36 years and 15 albums, the band has sold more than 20 million albums and is the group that has played the most shows at Rock in Rio. Cachaça is a symbol of Brazilian culture and Cachaçaria Batista, in collaboration with Sepultura, is launching a range of Cachaças de Alambique inspired by the essence of one of Brazil’s and the world’s greatest bands. The cachaça promises to delight with its taste and artisanal quality.

Cachaça Sepultura Amburana is aged for one and a half year in Amburana barrels, a typical wood from the north of Minas Gerais. It has a crystal clear golden yellow color and aroma with notes of honey, dried fruit and a hint of smoke.”
