The Amburara distillery embodies the true meaning of self-sufficiency.
Located in the historic town of Inconfidentes, the Amburana distillery began producing cachaças due to the coffee crisis. The old farmhouse was converted to accommodate the production of one of the most special cachacas in the country. All cachacas are produced on the farm from sowing to bottling.
The Amburana Blend is made from sugar cane grown on the farm. It goes through a “caipira fermentation process”, also with corn grown on the property, and goes through an indirect fire distillation.
The Amburana Blend is a blend made from 5 wooden barrels: Balsam, Amburana, Brazil Nut Tree, Wild Peanut Tree, Jequitiba, Oak. A complex aroma with notes of sugar cane, dried fruit and a subtle hint of caramel. Medium-bodied and pleasantly smooth on the palate.
